Self-crimping studs

Titanox Stud

TITANOX is a stud designed to be crimped to provide a screw function on sheet metal of all thicknesses. For this type of component, crimping is carried out using a press. The groove located under the bosses receives the material from the support sheet metal, which flows under the effect of the pressure exerted on the head. TITANOX thus offers high-performance mechanical behavior. Torque resistance is ensured by the anchoring of the bosses in the sheet metal. High resistance to axial forces is guaranteed by the shape of the head and the groove.

Key features
  • Screw
  • Smooth shaft
Advantages of TITANOX
  • High-strength, guaranteed assembly
  • Guarantee of perpendicularity and screw positioning relative to the support
  • Simplification of workflow and processes
  • Very high installation speed
  • No threading required to remove welding slag
Consider TITANOX as an alternative to

Welded stud:

  • complex welding process
  • inaccurate perpendicularity & location

Screw and nut assembly:

  • restrictive assembly requiring the screw and nut to be held in place during assembly, which is not very user-friendly
